Dramatic Black and White

I thought I would join I Heart Faces this week for their photo contest. It's Dramatic Black and White Week. I think this photo is dramatic because she is one multi-taskin' baby!! Binki sucking and soccer playing are no small feat, right? And trust me, she can simultaneously do it all. Like a pro.

You can join the fun by clicking the button below and posting your own dramatic b&w. Enjoy!!

March Madness

Sometimes ... I go out in my ugly Uggs and pink fuzzy robe ...

But only ....

When there's a big occasion ...

Like getting a boat load of snow ....

The day after ....

A warm ...

Sunny ....

Seventy degree...

middle of March day ....

the day before!!

That kind of March Madness only takes place out here on this crazy Prairie.

And I love it!!!

Winning Pic

Thanks so much to each one of you who voted on my last post! It was interesting to see what everyone liked, and I think all y'all have similar tastes to mine.

The overriding fave was pic #15, with Jessie and Peter on their way to find work the dirt path.

However ... when choosing a picture for the sidebar, I think visitors might want to see their cute little faces.

Just a hunch.

So I'm going to go with the second place winner, which is pic #12.

I am totally in love with this picture, because it really does their cute little faces justice. And here on Prairie Tales, justice is high priority.

That's why I'm so ticked off about the signing of the Obamacouldntcarelessaboutthewellbeingofthiscountry Obamacare bill going into effect.

But that's another post.

Thanks again for participating, and for blessing my socks off in general.

Pick A Pic, Any Pic!

This is a photo shoot I did with Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle ...err, I mean, Peter and Jessie. My one big mistake with this photo shoot was trying it at the wrong time of day.

Live and learn, right?

I did work with these photos as much as I could to make them presentable. It was good practice if nothing else. :)

What I need from you, my Lovely Lurkers, is to vote on your favorite picture. I plan to replace the side bar picture of Jessie with one of Peter and Jessie ... and I'm having trouble deciding which one, and thought maybe you could help me out! So - if you could, would you please, please, pretty please leave a comment and vote for your fave? Or, email me at the address under my profile picture.

That's right. I'm not too proud to beg.

If you feel super extra, mega generous, please let me know what you like about the one you chose. This helps me get a feel for what appeals to special people. Like you. ;)

Happy Voting!!!

~Brenda
P.S. I can see that I have no talent for counting. Hence, photo #17 has no number. BUT - since some have already voted, I'm going to leave things the way they are. If you like the no number photo, just call it that - NO NAME PHOTO! :)

My Little Guests

Guess who came to see me today?!

If you don't remember Baby J, click here. My sister-in-law had to take her baby to the doctor today, so I was blessed to be able to watch her two older girls, plus Baby J, whom she regularly babysits.

So! Without further ado .... My afternoon guests:

Baby J plays soccer!!!

Baby J has a shootout!!!

And wins!!

Hailey smiles perty!!

And Kiley does too!!

Andrew was out there too, but I was chatting it up with neighbors and didn't get a good shot of him. It was a refreshing, sunshiny afternoon with some of the best guests possible.

Have I mentioned that I'm looking forward to grandchildren?? ;)

My One Son

I just wanna say ....

That I love this boy ......

And his new haircut .....

And his goofiness .....

And his seriousness .....

And every other little thing about him.

He's my most favoritest son in the WHOLE world!

Just so ya' know.
