My mother-in-law suggested another fine way to enjoy the oatmeal chocolate chip cake. Instead of powdered sugar, try a little bit of cold applesauce on a freshly baked cake. The hot and cold together will delight your senses, and tickle your taste buds! Thanks, Jeanine, for the suggestion. If any of you try it, let me know what you think.I'm still desirous of bread recipes that require minimal contact with flour. Maybe a bread machine would be a good way to go??
