The Mexican restaurant where Jessie works was robbed last night (Jan. 1st). The thief broke a window and went through the place, but at this point, it doesn't look like anything major was stolen. The money from the register is removed each night, so that was safe. There was the tip money which equaled just under 300 dollars, but they didn't take it!!! I told Jessie that maybe they were just hungry. ;-) Anyway, the tip money is put into a jar until it gets to a certain amount, and then all the employees split it. It would have been almost 60 dollars out of Jessie's pocket, so we are thankful they left it alone.
And that....is our blessing of the day!!
